Lucky Lowe of Lake Alfred, FL is the 2006 Big
Dawg Qualifier #2 Champion. This year's skiing was even better than
2005 and Lucky took home the Big Dawg Trophy and a check for
$2,500.00.

BDQ tournaments will be
2-day events, with 2 rounds of AWSA Class E slalom on Day 1 (Saturday),
limited to 50 paid skiers. Only the top 16 skiers from Day 1 will compete
on Day 2 (Sunday). On Sunday the top 8 single scores from Saturday will be
seeded 1 thru 8, and seeds 9 thru 16 will be based on cumulative buoy
count. Sunday’s head-to-head will match seeds #1 vs #16, #2 vs #15, #3
vs #14, and so on.

How to qualify for the 2006 Big Dawg
Championship:
The top 8 skiers from each BDQ will advance to the
Championship. The Championship can host 50 skiers, so the balance of
skiers will be invited as follows: the first 50% of openings based on best
single scores, and the second 50% based on best cumulative scores. Any
ties will be broken by back-up scores from another BDQ.

Entry Limit: 50 paid
Entry Requirements: The
BDQ series is open to Men 3 thru Men 6 who have not placed in the top 10
in a pro tournament in the past 3 years, or who are over age 50. Entries
will be limited to 50 paid skiers on a first come, first served
basis. (See Notes below)
